Is anyone else taking/took procardia?

If so, what week did your doctor take you off of it (or plans to)? One of my doctors (I rotate between 3) said I could go off it when I hit 36 weeks, but the doctor who put me on it said she didn't want to do anything until week 37.

What are u taking it for? Is it for early labor or blood pressure?

Early labor...started having intense contractions along with my almost constant BHC last week at 34/5. So being a FTM they wanted to slow them down until I got a little further along.

I was on it for preterm labor.  My doc took me off at 35 weeks.

I was on it as needed wks 24-34 and then every 6hrs for 34 to day 1 of wk 37 for preterm labor. My doctor asked me to stay on it this week (37) as needed as I had trauma to my breast and she wants me to heal before breast feeding but I decided to come off of it because I don't see why we would stop labor when I'm full term and baby looks good so that I can selfishly feel less pain breast feeding. I also read somewhere that its not effective after 37wks and can potentially inhibit flow to the placenta. Of course, no doctor would keep us on a med if it would do this but it's just one of things I read online

I was on it, was told to go off the Monday after I turned 36 weeks... but I went off exactly at 36 weeks because it made me feel like crap. I am still pregnant :P

I was discharged from the hospital on Tuesday at 33w with an rx for two weeks of Procardia. I am having twins so I am supposed to deliver earlier than a typical singleton pregnancy.

I was put on it last week. At first it was only supposed to be for a couple days, but they are going to have me take it until 36 weeks.

My doc told me to continue taking it until the end of my 36th week.

I was put on procardia extended release since I went into preterm labor at 34 weeks. I was told to take it until I was 37 weeks which is officially on Wednesday October second. The stuff makes me so very itchy
