LO won't feed himself

Hi ladies,
My LO will eat anything I give him but he will not try to feed himself or put any toys in his mouth either. At about 6 months he was putting toys in his mouth but for some reason he is not doing it anymore. I started feeding him purée at 6 months and now i am trying table foods but he is having a little trouble with them like gagging. I am curious to see if other kids around his age are doing the same.

LO tries to steal the spoon and food from our hands, however doesn't quite understand how to dislodge the food from her fingers in her mouth (ends up on the floor). Not worried though; she'll figure it out eventually.
