Photographer WWS12D?

So we were scheduled to do our family pictures at 9 on Sunday, the photographer double booked that time and offered us 5pm. DD can be a bear at that time, and I really want some nice pictures for what I will be paying. What do I do? Just ask for an earlier time?

I would let her know it doesn't work and why and see what other options she has.

See if she has another date/ time.  If not, can you give her a later nap that day so she is happy longer?

I tried that and it didn't work well for us. I've figured out DS isn't always the happiest when he wakes up in the afternoon. I wish we would've done an earlier time for our pics. 

I'd do what PP suggested. Explain why it doesn't work and ask for some alternative dates.

We did our pictures at 5:30 because I wanted the evening sun. Leo wasn't great but I think we got some good ones. James has always been a disaster during our pictures regardless of the time and she always manages to get great ones. This was the first session that James was awesome, so of course Leo was not, ha.

So, I would take the later time because I like the light at that hour. But if you are concerned, then no big deal in telling her that doesn't work for you.
