Brica Car Seat Guardian Plus

We installed the car seat guard with our car seat and the fire station inspection went fine. Then today I heard they aren't recommended. Supposedly it isn't as safe and the car seat can move. But 2 different fire stations did inspections on our car seat bases and neither mentioned this. Anyone heard this?

I suggest joining the Facebook group Car seats for the Littles. No after market products are safe because they can mask a good install or affect the install. Not many fire depts have licensed techs who are up to date on the latest safety measures.
