Need help with HCG question

My cousin had IUI on 9/13.  She gave herself the hcg trigger shot that morning at 12:30 and has been on progesterone (orally) as well.  Today is day 11.  She took a test this morning and it showed a very faint, but very THERE line.  Could that be from the hcg shot or pregnancy? She's not due to start her cycle until 9/27, this Friday.  Thank you for your help!

I"m not sure what a beta is but I will ask.  She is at work and can't get on here right now so I told her I would ask.  Thank you, girls.

It can take 10-14 days for the HCG to work its way out of your system. So, it could be either like @tigger99 said. I'm doing IUI and my RE isn't doing a beta...I have a scheduled date for my blood test. Sounds like your cous is the same? If she doesn't have a scheduled blood test date, I'd wait a day and test again and compare the color of the lines. GL to her!
