NBR- Do you and your DH/SO share a blanket or have seperate blankets?

Do you and your SO/DH share a large blanket in bed or have your own.

We do both. Depends on which sheet set is on the bed. Last night I decided I needed to go back to 2 blankets. Someone took all the blanket and I felt like a beached whale trying to roll over to get some blanket.

I have my own that I wrap myself in like a burrito. Then my dh tries to share his. some nights I steal all the blankets.

We share, although some nights there is not much sharing going on. H is the blanket hog.

We used to. A few years ago I bought a second comforter randomly and we haven't shared since. It's bliss.

Here's the issue:  DH doesn't want one when he goes to sleep (not even one folded up at his feet).  He wants it totally clear.  But later on in the night he gets cold and wants a blanket.  So I start of with one on me that is big enough for both of us, knowing that sometime in the night he is going to try to grab it.  I have learned to kind of hold on to my side in my sleep so that I don't get left blanket-less!

We share but he usually ends up with the majority of the blanket and I usually just have some of the sheet. I think I get too hot at night and kick the blanket off and then he rolls and turns into a burrito and there's no getting the blanket back after that.

We share pretty much all the time (I'm the blanket hog in our situation) but when it's really cold we will each get our own and sometimes a third on top of both. Depending on how cold it is.

Summer/Spring/Fall: we share a sheet, and I use a light blanket by myself.

Winter: Share a sheet, and have one big quilt or comforter that we share.

We share the sheet and comforter, then he has is own extra blanket like a big man baby

We share, normally. Since being pregnant I haven't needed much in the way of blankets.

We share our sheets and blanket. We've never really had a problem with blanket hogging.

We share. If he tries to hog, I pull the sheet until he shares.

We share both the sheet and comforter on the bed. However I like to keep the house/room super cold so sometimes he gets and extra blanket.

I like the fact that other peeps wrap themselves up like a burrito. My dh thinks it is so weird.

We share, which is not the normal in Germany. But if Mr. Man doesn't stop cuddling himself up with more than half the blankets...he is going to have his own blanket soon!

We share a blanket (or more depending on how cold it is). But right now I am too freaking hot I have been just sleeping with a sheet if that & dh gets the blanket to himself.

We share, though DH swears I hog the blankets when it's actually me who wakes up in the middle of the night with nothing and he has them all.  It is not easy getting them back.

We have 2 blankets. MH is a cover hog/stealer and I like to have the blanket tucked in around my shoulders so no air gets in.

I am a total blanket hog normally, and love the burrito reference as that is what I do.
Not using much in the way of blankets throughout this pregnancy, but usually the key to sharing blankets is because FI is a furnace and I need to steal as much of his warmth as possible in the winter.

Separate. I'm a blanket hog and love bundling up under the covers. The poor guy kept waking up with no covers, so at some point we just started using separate blankets.

We share in the summer when it gets hot that neither of us wants to use a blanket much. We're in the process of cleaning and doing laundry, so last night we shared a tiny blanket that I've had since I was a kid, and it was still more than enough for both of us. 

In the winter, we usually use two. I tend to be a blanket hog.

We've had our own blankets since our first "sleepover." I have to obnoxiously toss and turn myself into a tightly wrapped (swaddled?) burrito before I can fall asleep. Plus, I'm married to a sasquatch whose body temp seemingly runs at 150 degrees all year long, so if he touches me, we both start sweating. We each have two blankets, assigned pillows and a fan (required for sleeping). Although, when we're having guests, I make the bed to appear as though we sleep like they do on TV...all cuddled up, legs intertwined, and camera-ready. Fuck. That. Return to your side, sir. I'll see you in the AM.

I have such bad hot flashes right now that dh uses a sheet blanket and comforter, i rarely use a sheet lol

We each have our own.  Some nights we use our own and some nights they seem to overlap and create a giant blanket.  it is just easier to have both depending on how we feel like sleeping that night.  I sometimes get really cold and DH doesn't.  Although these last few weeks of this pregnancy I haven't been using a blanket at all!

We have a king bed and used to share blankets but since having baby Amelia I have been having gross night sweats so wouldn't inflict all that nasty sweat on hubby, so we have individual sheets now.

We share a blanket, sheet, and comforter, however I am a hog under normal circumstances so do steal. I think it is because I am a tosser and turner and when I roll over, I steal. I also sleep with a 2-sided unicorn blanket that I've had since childhood (go ahead and make fun, I can deal!) and I don't share that. All that being said, this pregnancy makes me feel like I have a furnace inside me, so he sleeps covered and I mostly sleep with just the sheet.

This is how it is with us!!! Sometimes I am still too hot with just the sheet!

We share, although when I'm not pregnant I'm normally colder so I put an extra blanket on top of my side of the bed.

Yeah we share a sheet and comforter too, we don't seem to have problems with cover hogging. I do find myself being more hot now that I'm pregnant, so I have been kind of kicking my side off onto him and sticking my legs out, but he hasn't seemed to mind.

The only problem we have right now is with the pillows. I want them ALL, and poor DH has been left with one squished pillow while I contort myself into the rest of them.

We share the sheet and comforter.  If I'm hot, I'll kick off the comforter and just use the sheet.  If either of us wants an extra blanket on top of the sheet or comforter, we don't share.
