I wouldn't mind this kiddo being 8 days late so that his/er birthstone could be the pearl. my daughter's is peridot, and May is emerald I think. That would be two green stones and a terrible looking mother's necklace.

Oh- and Camille was 6 days late so what's 2 more days?

I don't think peridot and emerald look that bad together.  Monochromatic, I feel.  But, I have a July (ruby) baby now, so I'm *kinda* not the right person to ask.

Haha that's funny. My baby & I will have the same birthstone if they're on time ... I'll get my finger sized for the anniversary band now ..... Hahaha

I'm really hoping my baby doesn't try and come in April, I already have an April baby so I want this little turtle to wait until May. Obviously I will be happy whenever this LO decides to arrive after 37wks of course

Lol!!! I totally understand. My DS was born in Nov, the ugly yellow, so I'm hoping I go 2 weeks early like time and this one comes in April! Diamonds make all stones look good right!!

My birthstone is peridot and I love it.  DD has sapphire.  I never even thought about birthstones until this post came up.  However, I think peridot, sapphire and Emerald would look good together.  And for those that are clueless about birthstones:
