FTM stupidity?

I have a question but it's probably epically dumb.
Team peen.
Do you use a wipe when changing just a wet diaper?
I'm thinking yes beacuse the diaper holds it close to his skin...but wtf do I know?

Yes boy or girl always wipe. If you dont they will get a rash and smell like pee even with a clean diaper.
Eta: my friends who have boys said to always point it down when you put the diaper on or they pee out the top. Expecting first boy also.

Yes, wipe; urine will cause skin breakdown. It's very acidic.

Yes and make sure that the penis is pointing down when you put the new diaper on.

Yes this! I ALWAYS make it a point to tell my parents in the NICU to make sure all boys are pointed South! otherwise the pee will come right out the diaper It's amazing how many people don't know that....

Yep, point south! And wipe always wipe. Be sure to wipe under the penis too. I had a friend who had no clue and her poor son had a raw spot under his penis. :-( Only knew about it because we got to talking one day.

I know some of the older generation did not. I have a family member who doesn't because they use to bathe baby every night. So that is why they said they didn't.

Also after you take off the diaper, gt a washcloth and cover it up...he will pee sometimes boys are fun
