All day nausea...ugh :(

This being my third pregnancy and not being one to suffer from morning sickness with my previous pregnancies I am being a complete whiner now I am suffering from all day nausea. Nothing helps with it I it I just feel gross all day. Anyone else have this experience?

Re: All day nausea...ugh :(

  • Yup. I have to eat about every two hours. It really just keeps away the "I'm going to hurl" nausea but I'm still nauseous all day long.

  • All day and all night, shocker for me I had none with my son or my last pregnancy.

  • Right here. It sucks. I had it with #1 too.

  • I had this with my 1st pregnancy. The midwife suggested drinking weak red raspberry leaf tea because at lower concentrations it won't cause contractions but it can settle your stomach or really strong lemon balm or oat straw tea, each steeped for 30 min. Also I was given diclecton to take, it really helped shorten the symptoms during the day. ( my spelling may be a bit off)
  • I'm hoping it goes away quickly! I hate feeling like this.
  • Sometimes I found going for a walk in the fresh air no matter how much I didn't feel like it helped too. It really sucks and I do hope it passes quickly for you.
  • I drink a lot of water each day and that was helping before, I have also been eating small meals and that doesn't help at all. I hope every has a healthy pregnancy :)
  • I'm in the same boat. I thought week 7 was the worst so far, but today starts week 8 for me and I feel aweful! The last 24 hours have been absolutely miserable. Taking vitamin b6 and drinking ginger ale WAS helping keep it at bay. Nothing seems to be helping today. It's so hard to make myself eat!
  • I hear you!!! I finally drew the line at dry heaving while changing my sons diaper. My ob called me in zofran and I take half in the morning and half in the evening and I feel soooo much better. I know people have mixed emotions about zofran and it's side effects (constipation) being just as bad if not worse but by taking it in halves it's not as hard on your system. Good luck I hope you feel better!!
  • all of week 6 I was, week 7 it was on and off, and now as I start week 8 it seems to be back.  Sometimes eating, grazing all day helps, but some days nothing helps except praying for sleep. Good luck, hope it goes away soon for all of us.

  • Yes the nausea lasts all day until almost the end and then I'm starving out of no where. No up chucking yet (sorry for the image lol)!

  • Week 7 by far has been the worst. I'm nauseous all day to where I wish I could throw up and maybe feel better.. I finally went to urgent care last night because I couldn't function at work. They gave me a shot of Zofran and a prescription but all it does is take the edge off not make it go away.. Hopefully week 8 brings some relief
  • All day sickness here too. Zofran limits vomiting to twice or less per day but doesn't change the nausea. I had this with #1 too. It usually passes for people by 2nd tri but mine lasted until 17 weeks. Lord help me!

  • Ugh it's so miserable! I've got cbands, ginger gum, b-6 supplements and ginger ale... Hoping SOMETHING will work.
  • Mine has been bad this week too! I just got seabands today and I feel better. Still a little off but I can function now! Lol I'm loving them!

  • I also have been experiencing a lot of nausea which started about 3 days ago. I never experienced this with DS so I feel like I'm acting like a big baby this time around! Haha

  • I've started alternating between very hungry and slightly nauseous most of the time.  Not enough to hurl, but just enough to be annoying and am having a hard time figuring out what to eat when I am hungry that will sit well. But I'm only at the beginning of my 6th week and I hear the worst is yet to come!

  • I thought I was just winey! I have terrible 24/7 nausea! No throwing up tho thank god. I also have to eat every 2 hours to keep from hurling which makes me nervous because I was told I should only gain 3 or 4 lbs the first trimester. I don't wanna stuff my face so much that I gain too much weight. I'm gonna try ginger ale now tho. Wish me luck!!
  • Me. I've been super nauseous all day. I literally feel like I woke up to week 6 wanting to barf. No matter what I try I feel gross. Part of me wishes I could just throw up and maybe it will make me feel better.

  • Yes! I had NO morning sickness with my first. Not so lucky with this one.

  • Yes and it sucks! I just want to lay in. BEd but even that feels crappy!
  • I toughed it out until today. I broke down and filled my prescription for Diclectin. I took it this morning and the sleepiness nearly overtook me at work. However, it did stop my nausea in its tracks. Not one issue with nausea since I took the first dose this morning.
