Hormone Surge = Bizarre Dreams

Anyone else getting this?  I hadn't had any dreams since the 1st tri, and now in the past week it has been hitting me really hard.  Strange nightmares!  (That is, when I can fall asleep.  A lot of the time I can't fall asleep until the early morning hours or I end up taking naps.) 

Last night I dreamt that my pregnant self in danger of being attacked by a tiger that chased my parents cat in through a screened in area; that I was dying of thirst and begging for water that no one would give me; and other crazy things that I don't even remember.  I woke up and my face is all puffy and yuck.  Third tri is very weird.

Yep! I have a lot of apocalyptic type dreams. Googled it and it talked about a big change coming to your life, which seems to be pretty accurate lol I have also noticed I'm a lot more moody... pms style.

I've had some pretty weird dreams myself. Benadryl makes them worse and so does being thirsty oddly enough.

I had a dream last night that I had a torrid affair with Adam Savage.  I've seriously got to stop falling asleep while watching Mythbusters.

Still knocks the socks off of the last survivor of an alien apocalypse nightmare from last week, though.

ETA: What is it about pregnancy and apocalyptic dreams?  This is looking like a trend.

I have nightmares every night! They wake me up because they are so horrific and twisted.

Not strange, but I've started having very specific dreams.  Like last night that I went into labor and our DS was born and he weighed 8lbs. 4oz.  Why?  Who knows!  I wish this would happen with lottery numbers...
