DS2 spiked a fever of 101.5 out of nowhere yesterday afternoon (5:30ish). Gave him Tylenol, he went to bed like normal. Slept all night. He had a temp of 99.2 this morning when he woke up, but was acting fine, so I loaded him up with some Ibuprofen (Motrin) and sent him to school anyway.

He had a high fever a couple weeks ago and the dr said there's a virus going around that's just a fever and body aches. It lasted two days. My guess is the 1st graders are passing it around like candy. Mom of the year right here.

@IamInigoMontoya: I did keep him home last time for two days because he still had a high fever into day two. The third day it was low grade like this morning so I still kept him home and he was just a pest lol. So I sent him on this time.

 I just feel so bad because I spent all day hoping he wasn't being whiny/mopey for his teacher. I"m getting ready to pick him up from school, and am just praying he still feels good.
