I'm not new to cloth diapering, but I just found out that the diaper service on which we've relied for 2+ years and had hoped to use for our newest baby is closing. We've mostly used prefolds & covers, since that's what the service did, but now that we could switch to something else, I'm considering other options. I'm not a fan of microfiber....besides prefolds & covers, are there any good non-microfiber (and not-break-the-bank) options out there? Cute and not hugely puffy would be good, too!
Re: Non micro-fiber suggestions?
Suddenly my life doesn't seem such a waste,
It all revolves around you.
Since you're used to prefolds & covers, something like fitted might be a good option. Green Mountain Diapers (GMD) makes a relatively inexpensive one called a workhorse that is good for daytime. I've never tried them, but I've heard good things about Nicki's diapers Imagine brand fitteds too.
If you want something more like a pocket or AIO I like ITK's suggestions of the BG elementals or the Swaddlebees/Blueberry Simplex.
AppleCheeks/AMP and SoftBums are good pocket style diapers that have options of bamboo inserts but still have a fleece layer for dry feeling.
