Intro!

Hi All!

I just wanted to do a short intro. I was fairly active in the spring on the TTGP board so I definetly recgonize some of you, but once went past the 1 yr mark of trying I had to seperate myself more from the board and obsession! It was probably right around when all the changes occured to the boards that I slipped away.

So only this past Sunday did I take my HPT. I took the test on CD39 and obviously it was a BFP! I was unbelivably shocked! We had kind of given up hope as it had been 15 months trying and we were waiting for my DH to have a varicocele repair. So it was stunning. I had always imagined a cute way of telling DH but this was simply a matter of calling him into the bathroom as I sat down and asked if he saw what I saw.

After about 5 mins of celebration my DH got a phone call that he got a job out of town (about 4 hrs away) that he had been hoping for. And the news was he had to start today. This meant the last 3 days have been non-stop prepping and packing and we've hardly had time to revel in this baby news. This job also means that I am going to be by myself for most of the pregnancy. I dont want to rush a new job there and obviously at a certain point I need to stay where I am for the Mat leave. So I imagine after baby arrives we will sell this house and I will join him in the new city. Just a wee stressful for a new momma haha! But it's also why I was anxious to get back on the boards and join this community.

As for how I am feeling, at 6 weeks today I have still had no symptoms. I could say I am tired but I could easily attribute that to all the running around we've been doing for DH's move.
