Hi ladies! I've been lurking for a few days and I'm so excited to be joining you!
DH and I have been trying to get pregnant since last August. It wasn't going very well - long and irregular cycles, some weird pelvic pain for me, and chemical pregnancy in the spring. We had our first consult with an RE last month and DH went for an SA. We were just waiting for me to start a new cycle so that I could do the bloodwork and HSG. I was desperately hoping for a BFP before that but didn't honestly believe it would happen.
Today is 4 weeks and I'm cautiously optimistic about this one. I tested at this point last time and the lines weren't very strong. I was sure my period was coming so the BFP was unexpected. This time, I got a positive at 9 DPO and the lines have been getting darker ever since. I've been feeling mostly good so fingers crossed that this baby sticks around! EDD is May 28, just a few days after my own birthday. We'll be telling our parents this weekend and I'm really excited about that. DH and I are both only children so this will the first grandchild on both sides of our family.
I'm looking forward to getting to know you ladies and sharing this experience! I was on TTGP for about 6 months but as things got more frustating, I had to step away. It's nice to see some familiar faces here
