Baby shower tomorrow and I'm sick :(

My 2 year old DD was sick all last week. She still has a pretty bad cough and a slight runny nose, but for the most part she's feeling better.

I also got her cold, stuffy nose and cough. Unfortunately, my baby shower is tomorrow at six and I feel like I've been hit by a Mack truck and as if my nose has been filled with cement. I've taken everything under the sun that I'm allowed to take and nothing is helping. I am currently bumping from a million degree bathtub hoping ill sweat it out. I just wanted to feel good tomorrow! I'm also supposed to do my maternity shoot but I'm going to postpone them a week so my nose isn't raw.

Seriously though. I just want to pass out. I haven't slept properly in over a week and I could cry I'm so so miserable. ((((

Hot showers and use some Vick's vapo rub at bedtime... you could also check with your OB, I've heard some types of Sudafed are allowed. Hope you feel better!

I took basic sudaphed per doc and pharmacist and it helped along with saline nose spray. Maybe some Benedryl to help you sleep. Hot showers and OJ. Sorry this timing is awful

Sorry you are feeling sick! I've been sick all week. My doctor said Sudafed & Robitussin are ok to take.  Sleep a lot and try to sweat it out as much as possible.  Plus lots of hot water + lemon + honey + ginger. Feel better!!
