Stand alone birthing centers

Hi! I have decided to see a set of midwives at a stand alone birthing center this time around and was looking for mommas who have been through this kind of birthing expierence. I have had hospital births prior and didn't have a very good expierence last time and decided to switch it. What are somethings you wish you would have known or asked ahead of time? I will be interviewing them and I am looking for an inside view of what I can expect. Thanks

I'd like to know more about this too. I think I'm probably leaning towards regular hospital but a lot can change between now and then. I don't even know if there's one near here.
