Success after IF

OK ladies: beach tips please!

We're heading to Hilton Head next weekend with S who will be 5 months. Sooooo instead of me packing her entire closet (yes I'm that bad) thought I'd seek y'all's advice! What are must-haves for the beach? Which swim diapers do you recommend? What about sunscreen? Any tips for sleeping while traveling? We'll take her pack n play. Thanks in advance! Can't wait to hear all the advice! :-D

  • We like the cloth swim diapers better than the disposable ones because our DD is a skinny mini. I like the iplay ones, they are currently on clearance at target. For sunscreen we liked the babyganics spray lotion. It is a pump spray and went on nicely. I would also make sure you have a good shade structure if you plan to spend lots of time in the sand.

  • @AKB090609 Perfect. My parents are going too and they have one of those big tent/awning things so I'm hoping that will provide plenty of shade. Will definitely ck out the diapers at target. Thanks!

  • Loading the player...
  • Beach tent or umbrella, one of those waterproof blankets (towels just get full of sand and are a total pain), rashguard swimming suit with a nice hat for sun protection and we always use Badger sunscreen products.  We also use the iplay reusable swim diapers.

  • We did what other did - huggies disposable swim diapers. They work great. I'm a little crazy and still make ds wear the full sleeve swim shirt and shorts so I only have to put baby sunscrean on his handsm legs, feet, back fo neck and face and he wears a hat. We just got a bucket with a shovel and he was entertained for hours! Also just to make things easier we bought at 100 dollar tent from Dicks sporting goods so that could be set up and he could crawl and walk wherever and be shadded. It was amazing. Have fun!
