AW: Anatomy Scan/20 week consult with MFM

i'm thrilled to say that everything came back "normal" for babies today at my anatomy scan!  MFM didn't give many details but said everything looks good as far as she can tell (and then has to throw in "but ultrasounds aren't definitive").  I have a fetal echo scheduled for October 9th and will continue to see the MFM office for ultrasounds every 2 weeks.  

Baby A is 301 grams (11 oz.) and measuring 19w2d.  Baby B is 300 grams (11 oz) and measuring 19w1d.  The fluid looks the same for both (thank goodness!).  I asked the dr. if I should worry about them measuring behind my 20 weeks and she said no.  Ha!  Right now I'm googling "babies measuring 5 days behind".  

Why can't I just take good news and go with it?!  Would anyone else be concerned about the sizes?  The main thing they are concerned about is twin to twin transfusion and my thyroid level and as of now, both are terrific.  Also, the weird thing is, they don't look identical to me in the ultrasounds lol.  
Me (37) DH (39); PCOS changed to Unexplained, changed to DOR in 2012 (finally a correct diagnosis!); 
Started TTC 2009 with RE after 6 months.  
Clomid + Trigger x2; 
IUI + Femara x1,
IUI + Follistim x2;
IVF #1 (MDL) February 2013- BFN.
IVF #2 (antagonist) May 2013, First BFP of my life. 
Identical twin miracle BOYS (!!) headed our way- due date is technically 2/4/14 but c section is scheduled for 1/7!

    2 rounds of clomid, 5 IUI's using clomid + injectibles. 

    Surprise BFP while on break cycle due to cysts.  It's a girl! Baby "E" born on Thanksgiving Day 11/28/13

    Glad to hear great news!!! I am a google queen so I understand your need to do it but just try and take anything you read with a grain of salt :)

    i just found an average fetal weight chart and they are right on target for 20 weeks.  whew!  from what i remember about their measurments it looked like their arm and leg bones were measuring 18+ weeks and their abdomen and heads were 20 weeks.  guess they take an average.  good to know i'm not the only googler! :)

    Sounds like a great appointment! I think I would be with you on the question but I'm trying to fight the urge to google things which I usually find makes things worse! It seems like they are keeping a nice close eye on all three of you to make sure you are doing well!
    Me:30 low AMH; DH:30 MFI (count, motility, morphology)
    2 rounds clomid 100 mg -BFN
    IUI#1- 25 mg clomid- July 2012= BFN!
    IUI #2 August = BFN!
    IUI #3 September = BFN!

    IVF #1 November - converted to IUI #4 due to poor response = BFN
    IVF #1.2 February- converted to IUI #5 due to poor response = BFN
    IVF #1.3 April- micro dose Lupron flare with HGH; 14R, 13M, 11F! Transfer of 1 day 5 blast on 4/30, 4 frosties. BFP! Beta #1 9dp5dt= 179; Beta #2 11dp5dt= 442; Beta #3 4106 Stick baby stick!!

    Sounds like it went well.  I would not be worried at all about them measuring 5 days behind.  With ultrasounds every couple of weeks, I've found that at one ultrasound, one will be measuring 5 days behind, but then the next that one will be right on with the EDD . . . basically there seems to be some natural variation in ultrasound technology that a few days here and there isn't concerning.  Plus, it just means that your babies are very, very slightly smaller than average, not that there is anything wrong.  I'd be ecstatic that they are measuring so similar in size -- that's the really important thing for TTTS! Yay for a good report!

    both measuring right on track....2nd u/s... all is well... both beans measuring right on track... released from RE... first
    appointment with MFM 1/5.  Looks like this is really happening!
