Boy: Adrian

I really love the name Adrian for my son and can't imagen naming him something else. But please I'd like some honest opinions on this bc I don't want him to get made fun of at school or something


lol so my question when you hear the name Adrian what first comes to mind?

I loved this name for DS, but H vetoed it.  It's a classic, great name for a boy.

I love Adrian for a boy, and I have to admit, that it's a guilty pleasure name for me on a girl.  I know that Adrienne is the feminine version, but I actually prefer Adrian. 

Having said that, if I ever did use Adrian, it would be for a boy only.

 

 

ETA: When I was four, I named a female kitten Adrian after someone on a soap opera my mother watched.

Thank you everyone!! I'm glad y'all like the name! I love it so much and never even thought of it as a girl name but I've been hearing of actresses and such named Adrian recently. & of course in Rocky lol.. But I guess Jordan is used for girls but is still masculine for boys as well.

I like the name but have a friend named Adrian who's not a huge fan of his name.  He said people can't resist doing the Rocky yell at him (Adrian!).  I doubt that will be a problem for the next generation since Rocky is already an older movie, but wanted to make sure you knew....

When I HEAR it my first thought is girl because I assume the child is an Adrienne. But when I SEE it spelled Adrian on paper....BOY all the way.
