Lupron - from spotting to full flow and cramps???

I'm prepping for FET #1 on October 3. I stopped concurrent BCP and Lupron last Wednesday, and reduced from 10 units of Lupron to 5 last night.  Started Estradiol last night. I called the RE Nurse yesterday and she said not to worry about spotting, it's normal, and once the lining starts to build from Estrogen the bleeding will stop. She giggled at - and that irritated me:(  Anyway, as off this morning, I feel like a have a full-on period along with mild cramps! I am worried!  I'm calling them at 8:00am PST, but wondering if you ladies can help me.

  • I had a full period on lupron but that was for a fresh cycle so I don't know if it's different. The nurse said its normal to get a withdrawal bleed. Hope it works out!

  • I agree with pp. you have plenty of time to build your lining back up once you start estrogen. I'm sorry the nurse irritated you, she shouldn't have done that, but I do think everything will work out.

Talked to nurse, she let me know it's normal and I should expect 2-3 days of bleeding. She still giggled and told me to relax. She is new, not sure if I like her bedside manner. Thanks for your help ladies!

Grr, I'm sorry. Here you are worried and nervous and she's just giggling and making it worse! That would be frustrating :(

I'm glad that you got an answer that all is going ok. I've been sending prayers your way. I hope this is it for you!
