Happy Monday!

 

This check-in is a little late, but I will post it again on Friday, so we can get back to our regular Friday schedule.  For anyone that technically missed their last check-in, please feel free to post!  We'd love to send you off to second tri with some well wishes.

Congrats to everyone that has made it to this check-in! A big congrats to those that are graduating to 2nd tri!!! Update. My 2nd us was on 9/10 and my RE graduated me (wasn't expecting it!). My first ob appt is on the 24th. It is killing me to wait 2 weeks but I hope all is still okay. I have been fortunate in the symptoms department which also makes me nervous!

Qotd. We moved into our house last year and it needed a facelift so we have a few big projects besides the nursery, unfortunately! My husband is in the middle of gutting the family room so hopefully that is done in time as that project has been dragging on. I would also like to get the kitchen redone but I don't think that is going to happen so we are stuck with a 1950s kitchen a little longer!!!

Hello. Can I be added. I am due with a singleton 4-18-14. The first tri is kicking my bum but one day at a time.

The updating on the home is to move out. We have been looking for a bigger home for a year now and this market stinks.

My first tri is slooooowwwwly going by.  Today was my last day of endometrin, yay!  And I may try to hit the gym for a bit tonight, for the first time in 11 weeks.

QOTW:  I really want to finish our basement.  DH's home office is currently where the nursery will be and I would love for him to have an office down there, rather than the guest bedroom. He's a super loud talked so I think him and baby would disrupt each other during the day otherwise.

Hi, I'd like to be added! Due date is currently April 16, expecting 1. I had my first regular OB appt last week with my midwife and had an ultrasound so I got to see the heartbeat again. So far baby is measuring on track and things look good.

QOTW, our house was a fixer upper and we did most of the fixing pre pregnancy, so the baby's room and bathroom are updated, painted, and as ready as they're going to be, minus nursery furniture and decor. I do have a nice long list of organization projects (cleaning out closets and basement), to throw out or donate everything that's collected over the years that we don't need to make room for baby stuff.

Well I'm calling it and saying that I've started having some "all day sickness"...its actually better in the morning, and worse if I go too long without eating. No actual puking yet, maybe I'll be lucky and just be nauseous the whole time We have ultrasound #2 on Wed, anxious to hopefully hear the HB. 

 QOTW: We have our house on the market and hope to build by the time baby comes..the market totally sucks, so not a sure how this will work out.

Thanks bee bee! Chugging along 11wks 3days.Tom is 2nd ob appt, next Mon is nt scan. Haven't done anything yet for babies.we have been updating house since we bought it.

Nothing new going on with me. We have an appoint with the Mfm Friday for 1st trimester screening although we are still debating on getting it done.
As for our house- we finished our upstairs before doing IVF so that is done! Yay! Now we need some maintenance outside and maybe a fence for all the dogs!

Hi! I'd love to be added if that's okay. I hope it's not too early. I'm exactly 7 weeks today, due May 5th (Cinco de Mayo! ole!) We got to see the little heartbeat flickering away this past Friday (and even hear it) and go back on Thursday to see if my SCH has reduced after a week of bed rest.

We recently moved into our house (well, 8 months ago). I still have some boxes lying around, especially in unused rooms like the future nursery. After dealing with 2 years of IF disappointment, I refused to do anything in the nursery and even now feel a little reluctant. Currently it's storage for the frames we have yet to put up on the wall. DH is so excited, he wants to put the nursery together - paint, assemble furniture, etc - asap, but I told him we'd get to it a little at a time. We're going to test out paint colors this weekend -- maybe.

Not too much going on over here....some days I totally feel pregnant others not so much. When I do feel something its not until sometime after lunch/dinner that I feel queasy. I've got major plumbing issues (if you catch my drift) but they seem to be getting better now that I started taking Colace.

Tomorrow is U/S #2 and we're hoping to at least see a flicker of a heartbeat....it'll be 6w2d so I'm hopeful

 

QOTD: As for the nursery, we moved into our house last year and have left the baby's room empty since then. Should make things easy to move furniture in when there's nothing to be moved out first!!! Other than that, I'd LOOOOOOVE to get new windows before our LO arrives but that's financially not going to happen this year. Thankfully with a due date in May, we have some time to get that done before he/she is frozen out of their bedroom in winter, lol

thanks for taking over! I have my NT scan on Thursday and really hoping everything goes well! Last week was the first week I haven't had an u/s and I am just hoping the baby is still doing ok! 

We haven't done anything yet. After my missed mc in April I have just been too nervous. I think after the NT scan we will finally believe this could be it for us.

Thanks beebee! I'm 10w4d. The beans & I had our first ob appt last week w an u/s and they are starting to look like babies! Everything went well. The ob says he plans not to let me go past 37 weeks and recommends a scheduled c section. I've just been trying to get used to the idea. Ultimately if its what's safest for the 3 of us, then I'm fine w that.
Qotw: dh bought siding he wants to put up & we need to redo a bathroom still. I wanted big construction stuff done before they get here but who knows if that'll happen.

Hi!  My ultrasound got moved up a day to Thursday due to scheduling conflicts.  Darn lol!  I am 6 weeks, 4 days today.  Still feeling normal, and that is freaking me out. Have been excessively hungry last night and today.  So anxious for Thursday! 

QOTW:  Not really anything major other than organizing and the nursery.  We live in a condo, so we are small on space.  Going to do a major purge to make room for baby stuff.

I am 8w,3d now and have been fatigued and hungry for the most part all the time. The hunger comes and goes every few days but I'm pretty much exhausted every day and could always take a nap. Otherwise, I am feeling good symptom wise.

We got to hear the heartbeat last Thursday at 7w,4d and it was beating at 147bpm. It was such an amazing sound.

QOTW: We are in the middle of refinancing and possibly finishing the basement in. It could be a nightmare once we get into it all.

Update:  Guess you can update me to 2 beans, just found the second one this monring...not sure when my EDD would be now, I'm guessing April

Thanks, BeeBee!  You can go ahead and add me, please!  My EDD is May 12 for now - ultrasound tomorrow because I'm going out of town Friday  (@jschwind22 and I will be u/s buddies, I guess).  Can't hardly wait!  Just want to see that heartbeat(s)!  I'm still so excited about @monimu13!  Here's hoping for the same at my u/s tomorrow, although I'll be excited just to see a heartbeat, whether it's 1 or 2!

13w4days with my triplets! Had a scare with some bleeding last week and ended up in the ER. Had an US and the babies are fine, but have a polyp in my cervix which is causing the bleeding. Met my OB on monday for the first time and was placed on modified bedrest and pulled from work from here on out due to the bleeding. Kind of surprised to have to stop working already, but whatever it takes to keep these babies growing!
QOTD: We need to do some purging to get rid of stuff to make room for all the baby stuff I guess!

Hello, I think I am finally ready to join after 4 ultrasounds I finally believe I am pregnant.

My due date is April 28, but I am sure it will be earlier since I am pregnant with mono-di twins. I am already seeing a MFM and will see my RE for another week or so. I am super nervous and excited about twins.

QOTD - I really don't like my house. I do like my location, but my home is a smaller older townhome. We have a third bedroom where the twins will go. But it is 100 square feet so it will be challenging.
