I know the "pregnancy brain" thing is up for debate, but I swear I've got it bad this time around.  When I was feeding the baby that I tend, I threw her bottle away afterward instead of putting it in the fridge.  Then when I took some Miralax, I put it in the fridge instead of back in the cupboard.  Then when I was getting my prenatal vitamins out this morning, I gave myself some of my kids' gummy vitamins instead. LOL

Inappropriate objects in the fridge (silverware, keys, and once one of DS toys), being completely unaware of something I just did or said, and DH says I'm so forgetful he has started leaving little notes around the house.

I got upset with my DH because I claimed he didn't tell me I had to drive our trailer full of Atvs to the sand dunes this weekend, While he pulled our camper with our other truck.
I then threw a major meltdown pitty party "I don't wanna!"
Apparently ( I must of been daydreaming of me peacfully sleeping in the passanger seat the entire way there everytime he explained the master plan.) haha!

Two days ago I walked out of the house to go to the store in jeans and a bra. Thank God I caught myself before I hit the garage! Yesterday I had an In n Out milkshake while driving a friend (in her car) to her house. Opened the backseat to put my jacket, water bottle, purse in there and left my milkshake as well. Just sitting on the seat. Milkshake everywhere. She was really nice about it (my BFF and knows I'm pregnant) but I felt awful.

I went to Ikea, filled up an entire cart.....and forgot my wallet!
Then I did the same thing at Wegmans 2 days later!

Now I have a post it on the front door "wallet, keys, phone"' lol

Crazy dreams in top of that..fun times!

Last pregnancy DH bought me one of those old people days of the week medicine containers.I could never remember if I took my vitamin and would ask 5-6 times a day if I took it, because I could never remember the answer. Finally DH bought that, and it worked wonders

This.  I will be mid--sentence and forget what I was saying.  And when I am talking I sound like a fool because I will mix basic words up, like saying last week instead of last year, or yesterday instead of tomorrow.  In my mind I say the right thing, though.  I have also put things in the wrong spot - like my keys in the pantry the other day - UGH!  My 8-year-old thinks I have completely lost my mind.  The other day I heard him tell his friend "my mom forgets everything!"  :-(

I also almost took the dog's medication the other night instead of my prenatal, and I am pretty sure I have given him dinner more than once in a night because I can never remember if I fed him.  He will happily eat any time I fill his bowl so I can't even tell by how he acts.

I've had pregnancy brain since my first pregnancy. I sear it never left. I randomly will put the wrong things in the wrong places and some days I'll lose my phone like 10 times.

I will be talking...and half way into the convo i'm like...."WTH was I just saying...I can't remember anymore.." So embarrassing

Most of what I say comes out backwards- like the words are switched around.

I've lost my wit and cleverness when I talk to clients on the phone altogether and I pretty much stumble through every conversation.

I got all the way home from work before realizing that I left my phone there. Not huge, but I'm usually never that forgetful. 

Next one requires a little back story...

My husband is a student, and we live in a college town. I was working a double one day last week (Tuesday, I think) and clocked out for my break. I knew I needed to take the car to my husband on my break so he could drop me off when my break was over and take the car when he needed to go to work (we only have one car, obviously). I call him because I just can't seem to remember when his class ends, so I don't know if he's already home or if I need to pick him up from campus. He doesn't answer. I text him, and he never replies. So I decide to go wait for him on campus and had the brilliant idea to check his schedule by logging into his student account! *-:) After 15 minutes of killing time, waiting around for him to show up, and finally figuring out how to find his schedule, I see on the schedule that he doesn't have classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays. AND THEN I REMEMBER: my husband doesn't have classes on campus AT ALL this semester. I have never had to pick him up from campus before. I know this. I KNOW THIS. I felt like an idiot, and to top it all off, when I finally get home, I see him laying on the couch watching something on Netflix with his headphones on, which is why he never got my call or text! Ugh. Hopefully that was the worst pregnancy brain moment this pregnancy.

I ask my coworkers random strange questions.  The other day I was trying to remember the name of UPS, and I could not.  I went to my coworker and instead of just asking "hey, what are the two courier companies we use again?" (which would have been bad enough), I said "what's the courier company that drives brown trucks?".  She raised her eyebrows, told me the answer, and then asked me if I was alright.

These are so funny ) This is my first pregnancy and a friend told me that you're kind of an air head when you're pregnant but I never noticed that in any pregnant women I'd been around... So this is definitely a surprising symptom for me!

I seem to leave something at work almost every day. Usually small things, but I get so frustrated with myself after four days straight of forgetting something. I also completely blank when I'm talking or trying to remember something which makes me think, "WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME?!?!"

SO definitely thinks I've gone crazy because of how out of it I am sometimes. That's just one of the joys of this journey I guess

I just put French fries in the oven, set the timer and went to sit in the Living room. 18 minutes later I went to take them out of the oven and it was off!!! I hit the oven off button instead of the timer!! I just said to DH "I can't believe I just did that" and said "me neither". Gee, thanks!!!

I tried to use pregnancy brain as an excuse the other day. DH said that that was a bs excuse because technically I had two brains in me at the moment. Gotta love him... Or hit him!

I couldn't say words properly all weekend. Good thing I stayed in all weekend and only sounded like an idiot to my husband lol

I slammed my fingers in the car door tonight. That's a first! Note to self: move hand outside of door before pushing closed!

I've noticed since I've become pregnant, I'm clumsy all of a sudden. I've stubbed my toe about a hundred times, trip over the dog gate daily, and trip on the stairs all the time. It's like I don't have the energy to lift my feet high enough to take a proper step anymore!

I've been forgetting to turn the oven or stove burners off lately...just a few times.  Luckily, DH caught it and turned them off before too much time had gone by.

I'm a firm believer in pregnancy brain.

I don't have any stories for this pregnancy yet but I will never forget that when I was pregnant with DD and had a 1 year old one day I left the house to take DS to the park or go grocery shopping or something and I left the front door to the house open.

Left the front door to the house open. Not unlocked. Wide.Open. For over an hour.

I accidentally forgot to pick up my son from daycare a few weeks ago. No lie. 

Truth be told I normally don't pick him up on Thursdays (my husband does). BUT- I forgot that plans had changed and it was my responsibility. When I finally remembered (5 minutes after closing time), I called to tell them I would be there in a few minutes (I was still at work) and then I couldn't remember where I left my keys. 

I definitely went home feeling like the worst mom ever that day.

Oh I have found milk in the pantry and cereal boxes in the refrigerator before too. Seriously side tracked thinking.

I have also left a super old space heater (I have been freezing lately) on in my office building overnight. It is the kind that doesn't shut off. We share a building with the public schools administration office, which means lots of important files abd papers. I don't know how that building didn't go up in flames. It was about 300 degrees in there the next morning. I'm still counting my lucky stars. Boss lady was not amused!

This morning I showered but forgot to shampoo my hair. Worked a greasy topknot all day!
