Pumping Question

Recently, I have noticed my pumping output has decreased. I realize this may be because we have started solids. What concerns me is that pumping has become somewhat painful and it used to be only slightly uncomfortable. I am not doing anything different but suddenly, my nipples turn red and purple and hurt when I pump. It seems to be worse on one side than the other. I have an Avent Isis IQ DUO and as of yet, haven't had any problems with it. Any suggestions on what could be wrong? Maybe it's time for me to call a LC?

Can you lower the suction down?

I use a really light suction already, just enough to get my let-down. I maybe squeeze halfway, maybe less...?
