Hi! I got my BFP on 9/2, and was so excited to be pregnant with my 2nd child. I live in an urban environment and have been riding my bicycle to & from work all summer. I figured I would stop riding once I started to get symptoms. But sure enough, as I was cycling to work on 9/3, I was hit by a pick-up truck that ran a red light. He hit me pretty hard, but thankfully my injuries were limited to some stitches, a broken toe, and lots of scrapes and bruises. The EMT's said the helmet saved my life. I've been checked out at the ER and at my primary care physician - they all agree that my pregnancy appears unaffected unless I have severe cramping or bleeding (I do not). But I can't help but be worried.
So...I need some positive thoughts! Has anyone else had a bike or car accident while pregnant and ended up ok?
