Anyone breastfeeding now? How's it going?

I'm still breastfeeding DS#1 on demand. Based on some fussiness I've observed, I think my supply is already starting to tank. I was hoping this wouldn't happen until closer to week 20. Anyone else experiencing this? What are you going to do? Wean or dry nurse through the pregnancy and then tandem

I'm still nursing but my son is only 6 months, I plan to nurse and then tandem. I hope it works out, I've heard it helps your child bond with the new baby also. I would really like to tandem. I've been trying to eat a ton of oatmeal too. Good luck!

I nursed my 1st while I was pregnant with my 2nd.  My milk did tank but she still got some.  I ate lots of oatmeal and drank lots of water.  She was about 18 months old when she weaned.

I'm nursing DS, almost 1 and only likes to nurse 3 times a day. My supply has really dropped on one side which seems odd. I'd kind of like to have a bit of a break from nursing. I'm not too sure about tandem yet. What are some pros to tandem? I've been trying to get DS to nurse more to help my supply but he's not too interested. Also, been trying to make sure I eat plenty of calories, I notice a drop if I haven't eaten enough.

I'm still nursing and so far so good.  No tenderness yet and not drop in supply, I'm still really early though.  I do notice cramping gets worse while I'm nursing though so that worries me.

I am still BFing my 14 month old. I'm ready to be done, but I'm hoping she self weans soon. I do not plan to tandem nurse.

I'm still nursing my 16 month old, essentially on demand. It is her favorite thing LIKE EVAR and she seems totally uninterested in weaning. I'm still really early, but I'll follow her lead. She can self wean, nurse through pregnancy, tandem nurse, whatever as long as there is no dire medical need to wean earlier. I'm a big fan of going with your gut because only you and your baby can decide what's right for your nursing relationship. If I had to have a goal, I'd say I'd like to nurse through pregnancy and tandem nurse for 6 months - wean DD at about 2 & 1/2.

But we can night wean now. I'm so done with that shiz. Mama is tired.
