How was your third labor?!

I hear second babies are great but third labors are awful. Tell me I am wrong!:o) Do you have a positive third labor/baby story?!

I had a scheduled cesarean and it went off without a hitch, so I can't complain. With that said, I had a vaginal birth with my first and the recovery was much easier, imo.

My third was by far my best delivery. Fairly quick, uneventful. Three pushes and she was out. Recovery has been great!

She was a week late, and the exact same size as my second.

My third was longer but not horrible . My first labor was 10 1/2 hours from start to finish , my second was 4 hours start to finish , my third was 29 hours but 20 of those hours were with contractions 30 minutes apart . They're we're real contractions and I was leaking fluid but it wasn't bad at all . 9 hours of the 29 were what I would consider more active labor and only about two hours of hard labor. Those worse part if my third labor was towards the end the contractions were sparatic . Sometimes they would last for a minute sometimes less the 20 seconds and sometimes they would be a minutes apart sometimes 30 seconds apart . It was more annoying then anything since I couldn't get into a rythem . My fourth labor was 4 1/2 hours start to finish so it was still the longest but agian not horrible . They say the thirds the wild card !
