Hi all, first time to post or really open up about all of this...I have a few questions and concerns and would love to hear others stories or input.
My husband and I have been married 4 years, TTC for the last 2.5 years. I am 24, husband is 25 - we started seeing an RE here in the Fort Benning area and discovered I had PCOS and endometriosis, and my husband was given an A++++ lol. We tried 12 medicated cycles using Clomid and Prometrium, all with successful growth and ovulation (some cycles 8-12 good eggs) but nothing was working. I had bilateral ovarian cyst removal in August 2012 and our RE told us I had severely dilated tubes that was likely the cause of our inability to conceive. The RE suggested skipping IUI and told us our most likely chance to get pregnant would be IVF.
We've held off for a few months now, it's a serious decision to make and not to mention expensive (Tricare doesn't cover anything related to IVF). We're ready to take the leap, we've found a clinic in Jacksonville FL (a bit of a drive, but my husband will have a few weeks off after deployment). My first question, has anyone here had IVF (regular or micro) at Jacksonville Center for Reproductive Medicine? Has anyone under 25, with similar issues, had a successful IVF? Any words of wisdom or advice for keeping it together?
Thanks yall!
