Goodbye missionary.

I was still enjoying it back when everyone else gave it up so today was my sad day. I guess it's time to get creative.

On top works best for us at this point. Although I'm sure it doesn't look sexy now ha ha.

DH and I have never done missionary (at least not the traditional missionary), so I never had to say goodbye. However, no more on the back with feet on his shoulders. Sigh. Right now I'm loving spooning. It's comfortable, still feels really good, and doesn't make me self-concious about the baby bump.

Spooning or in the shower are the only two options we have found that don't hurt right now. I gave up missionary a long time ago. Oh well, spooning means I get to use BOB during without any feelings of guilt that DH might get his feelings hurt.

We actually successfully did missionary this weekend!  Its not even a fav position ordinarily, but we did it in the morning so I was not so bloated and he stay up on his knees and it worked well.  A position that works great is me on my side, bottom one leg straight through his legs and top leg bent up to my chest and he is on his knees and goes in from behind- give him some place to hold on (my hip) and he can control the depth too.   Try it! lol

We did that one time and it was like I got punched in the cervix. My missionary is a close kind which just put too much pressure on my belly.

Since my DH holds himself up pretty high missionary is still working for us! I have a feeling its days are numbered though Sucks cuz it's DH's favourite

This post makes me sad. Does this mean when H and I get the all clear to have sex, we can't do missionary?

RIght there with you ladies! I'm pretty sure DH and I had the worst sex of our 4+ year relationship the other night. Ugh! I ruined it because he tried to get on top of me and I had to push him off and yelled "you're crushing the baby!" -- kind of a mood killer! But really, he is a big guy and when he tried to get into that position it DID feel like he was crushing my uterus, and it hurt! Hehe.

Pregnant sex has definitely not been fun for me (and I'm sure poor DH too!), I feel irritated and sensitive in the vag, and it is frequently painful unless I am extremely aroused, which is a time commitment for foreplay, and frankly? I'd rather just go to sleep. It's so terrible!

It's possible you still can! It just got too uncomfortable for me. Seems like a lot of ladies got creative and still manage so there's hope!

Lol you may not feel sexy anymore but it doesn't mean you don't want it. Lol my husband is a weirdo tho and thinks I'm sexy pregnant so that works well with my high libido a lot if men think that way also

Yea, me too.  We usually start in missionary and move on to something else, but now we can't even do that.  God bless DH for allowing me to keep my tank top on last night...I'm so self conscious about all I've got going on!!

We gave up basically everything that had me on the bottom ages ago because it was getting uncomfortable and he didn't want to hurt me/baby. Now it's variations of things with me on top. Seems to work better and doesn't hurt at all!

I'm with @wilburbud. When I'm feeling too self-conscious for me on top, laying on my back at the edge of the bed is my fav.

We also do a modified spoon. I still lay on my back but he's on his side.

We're starting to do it more on the couch too, with me sitting on top of him. I feel less self conscious than when he's laying down. 

Haven't lost missionary yet but I bet we will, soon.
