Dark underarms

Ok - what?!? I just noticed tonight when I lifted my hands above my head in front of the mirror that my armpits are dark. They look bruised almost. They haven't ever looked like that before and it freaked me out a bit - so i researched it a bit and looks like it can happen during pregnancy - sometimes goes back and sometimes doesn't? Anyone else have this? Any STM's that have dealt with it before and it's gone away?

I guess I'm thankful we are heading into the fall....

Yes I had this with all five each pregnancy it got worst but it fades and goes away as you are slowly getting your body back! Alllll harmones

I have noticed this too.  I rub lemon juice under my armpits to help lighten them up...works for me.

Ill have to try the lemon juice! And I know mamaleeks - I'm a fTM and almost 24 weeks....I was thinking the same thing. - what other strange things is my body going to do in the next 16 weeks?!

I haven't had any issues with this, but I do have an incision in both of my armpits and the scars have gotten dark in the last few months. They were almost invisible pre-pg.
