s/o facial scruff

How do you make out with a guy with scruff and not get a road rash on your upper lip and chin? Or maybe Dhs facial hair is just really rough?

DH looks nice with scruff, but yeah, no kissing when he has some. He normally shaves daily unless he's on vacation or resting his snipped balls.

H's beard was soft but the short scruff was really irritating. Now that he's doing firefighting full time no facial hair allowed b/c of the mask - I kind of miss his beard though.

Dh shaves every 2-3 days, so his beard never gets long enough to become soft. He asked why I don't like making out and I was like umm shave your face dude! I'm not trying to have a rug burn on my chin thankyouverymuch

Don't rub your face against his facial hair? His lips shouldn't be hairy :P

How do you make out w/o rubbing chins? Maybe I'm an over vigorous maker outer?! And Dh has huge lips, you'd think it'd be an easy target!

I suppose it depends how heavy the make-out session is. DH makes a point to shave before initiating something...usually.

I can't imagine a moustache. I imagine that it's like a furry animal on your upper lip.

IDK DH doesn't get scruffy often. He gets a nice 5 o'clock shadow though. We don't make out so no clue.

DH can't stand anything on his upper lip. So that's a win for me. He does have a goatee though he trims when it gets too long for his liking. But his 'haven't shaved in a few days' look gets me every time. And when he has that on his days off along with a backward baseball hat, ermergerd!! I can't help but want to jump him.
