sex after hsg??

Hi everyone,

I've heard some great advice about the hsg. I am nervous but plan to take as much advil as i can get away with beforehand! Mine is on Monday. It will be day:12 of my cycle because I usually have very long periods but for once I was done bleeding around day: 7, wonder if that plays a role in how much cramping once can have??? The question I really wanted to ask though is IF everything goes smoothly and the pain/cramping subsides by that evening, is it okay to have sex that evening? We got some great news from hubby's sperm sample and there were actually a small number of live sperm!!! We were shocked, we thought there would be NONE. I hear you are most fertile after the hsg, thus the reason for my question. Thanks so much all!

I don't see why there would be a problem but I don't know if the dye would cause any harm to his swimmers.
