disney q, which hotel & whats the deal w/ the water taxi?

if the price were the same, woudl you stay at contemporary, polynesian or wilderness lodge with 2 four yr olds and why/why not?
(I was looking at grand floridian too but they're pretty booked for when we're going.)

Now, to narrow it down b/c contemporary is kind of booked up also except higher level rooms, polynesian vs wilderness lodge?

I wanted to stay on monorail since we will only be there a couple days & I want to maximize our time, etc. However, I saw the water taxi option to magic kingdom (we're only planning to go to magic kingdom, and probably sea world)  for wilderness lodge and got intrigued...

thoughts?

  • LOL I like the pinot noir tip...on that note, i have to say the fact that WL has the kids camp thing you can use in the evening to have a dinner alone was sort of a plus also...

I was wondering if the water taxi service was not too frequent. Monorail is prob the way to go I guess if all things were equal...?

The water taxi is slower and is harder to get on when the park closes bc not as much seating. Polynesian has lots to do at night for kids, campfire, movie on the beach next to the pool and you can see the fireworks with the park music.
cool thanks, good to know! We went to the luau there if I recall when I was a kid and was thinking that would be fun...
