Huge thank you

Hey ladies-  

Just wanted to say a HUGE thank you to all who responded to my post about our A/S.  I've been going through all the responses and I truly appreciate all the kind words and T&P's.  DH and I are both doing much better with the news now that it has sunk in a bit more. We are now in "education mode".  We are now taking our doctor's advice and thanking God that the missing limb is our only issue.  

We go back in on the 13th for a follow up scan and Mat21 test.  We are hopeful that we won't have any more shocking news, but we will be okay if we do.

T&P's! This is probably random but do you ever read reddit.com? There was a story about a girl who was born with the same thing (not sure if it was a right arm or left) maybe a week ago and she's like in her late teens, early 20's now. She does archery with a robotic type arm! I hope you guys find all the information you need and get good news with your additional testing!

Just wanted to add that my husband's aunt was born with no arms period. She lives a completely normal life using her feet to do everything, including eat, you'd be shocked how much your body can compensate. She lives independently and is a lawyer!

Thaks so much! Each day I am less scared for her (and myself). I'm just ready for my follow up apt. My poor doc will have a huge list of questions to answer!
