As of IF wasn't enough

So I am scheduled to trigger is evening, 8:00.. So we got up went in the room pulled the trigger med in and we were supposed to do the fill 1cc well, lone behold there is only a little more than 1/2cc in my vial. The nurse mixed it... Ugh... Had to call the emergency number and ask what to do, by this time it is 8:15... Ugh.. They finally call back and a doc I have never met says, well the girl who mixed your meds is very tenure and she probably would not make a mistake like putting 1/2cc in.. But if I am sure I got everything out of the vial then I should have all the powder mixed in the 1/2cc and go ahead and shoot.. It is now 8:25, and finally triggered with hat we had, gosh I hope it was all in there.

We have enough issues without this happening... DH is pissed.. And I am worried.. Thanks for listening. (End rant)

    Me too. I got in for bloodworm tomorrow. So I am hoping that enough HCG is there.. Man a good night turned bad!

    I had the trigger that is pre-filled so all I had to do was inject so it went good although DH almost pushed in the end when he was holding it and I freaked out lol  I kinda feel guilty for yelling at him but he knows i'm crazy right now. Its still a good night! Putting positive vibes out in the universe that your hcg levels will be fine tomorrow!

    Aww.. I guess trigger is a hard time on the guys, my DH was freaking out before we even knew the meds weren't all there. Thanks for the vibes, I a, sure all will be well. I am sure I am not the first person who this has happened to.

    Don't stress too much! I mixed my own but when I drew it up the needle wasn't screwed on tight and I lost a quarter of it. My doctor said since I was doing 10000 and I got more than 5000 I was fine. Still made me cry so I know how frustrating that can be!

    TTC since 3/2011 Adenomyosis, LPD, hypothyroidism. 
    BFP on 7/20/12 after 4 cycles Clomid + IUI 
    2 large subchorionic hematomas & no heartbeat at 7w6d   
    D&E 8/18/12 Sonohysterography found septum and necrotic tissue.   
    Hysteroscopy to remove both 10/5
    IUI #5-7 50mg Clomid + trigger = BFN  
    IUI #8 Femara + Bravelle + HCG + Progesterone = BFP 3/27/13
    Beta 1 (13dpo) = 169  Beta 2 (17dpo) = 1073  No heartbeat at 9w3d. 
    D & C 5/10/13  Triploidy 69 (paternal inherited)
    IVF #1 with ICSI and PGS 11R 8M 5F 2 biopsied/frozen
    PGS results = 1 with trisomy 13 & 1 good embryo for FET 
    FET #1 EV, estrace, nitro patches.  Cancelled due to thin lining
    FET #1.2 oral estrace, f'ing nitro patches and no delestrogen.  Transfer 12/31. BFN
    PAIF/SAIF welcome
    Surprise BFP on 6/13/14  Our only unmedicated bfp ever.

    Thanks so much for that @neesey! I think I needed to hear something just like that! I am sure it will be ok, but I can't seem to get my mind off of being delayed or that we screwed this up. I keep telling myself the Doc on the phone did not seem all that worried.

    Yep! What neesey said! I have triggered with 5,000 and with 10,000. You will be fine! Also she may have just added less diluent...but the Amt of HCG may be correct. I'm positive you are fine! Update is later. Congrats on trigger!
    | Married since 2008 | DH and I: Both 30 | Me: Endometriosis and Carrier of an X-Linked Dominant Genetic Disorder | DH: Low Morph | Planning IVF with PGD and PGS in 2013 | Freeze-All IVF #1: March 2013 ER 3/26. 29R, 12M, 11F. 4 5AA frozen blasts. Freeze-All IVF#2: May 2013 ER 5/15. 31R, 21M, 20F. 6 5AA frozen blasts. Our PGD probe was completed in late June (total of 20 weeks to develop). PGD and PGS Results came on 6/19: 3 healthy embryos (normal chromosomes and unaffected by my family's genetic disorder). FET #1: July 2013 Natural Cycle - Cancelled due to insufficient lining (only got to 7.5mm). FET #1.2: August 2013 - Medicated Cycle with Lupron & Estrogen Patches to build up lining. Single embryo transfer was 8/23. Beta #1: 240! Beta #2: 578! U/S on 9/19 at 6w4d: We saw the heart beating at 131bpm. Second U/S on 10/4 at 8w5d: We saw the heart beating at 178bpm. EDD 5/11/2014
