Tender to the touch in the hip

For the last couple months on my left side, right above the hip bone, I am so tender to the touch. It hurts when I move wrong and always hurts to the touch. I have an appointment Thursday and plan to ask about it, but it is beginning to make me very uncomfortable.
Has anyone had anything like this?
I have an unreasonable fear of the dr finding Choriocarcinoma since we lost my aunt to it after she had her baby.
Maybe someone has had a pain like this and your dr easily explained it?
It feels nothing like the round ligament pains I have had while growing.

Re: Tender to the touch in the hip

  • It sounds like what I experienced with tendonitis, but do as you planned and talk to your doctor about it.

    I hope it's nothing serious.

  • I had some tenderness a few weeks ago like that. I think it was gas / constipation. It didn't feel like it normally does with gas, but because it went away after I went to the bathroom finally, I figured that was it. It was really tender when I touched the area or when baby would be moving around there. Not sure if that is the same with you, but worth checking with your doctor just to be safe. Hope all is well.
