XP: NBR - Benetton closing??

I am suspicious that United Colors of Benetton is closing. They are currently having a 60% off promotion and 1 store has admitted so far that they are closing their location, but keeping it on the DL. Another location had already started taking down empty shelving and had too much of one size, not enough/no sign of another size (inconsistant merchandise typically seen at liquidated stores). Does anyone know anything about this? Are there any locations closing in your area? I just tried googling but couldn't find any info. I'm going to seriously bawl my eyes out if they are shutting down their US operations. TIA.
