January 2014 Moms

I'm going to AW my DH.

So when we got home this evening, hubby gave me a big hug and said "It wouldn't matter if we were married.  I just know I can't live without you."  AWWWWW.  Be still my heart.  He can still make me melt.  I just love that big lug.

I needed that after the emotional rollercoaster that is my almost 10 year old.  I swear to Bob, she is going through early puberty.  She spent a majority of the day crying over anything and everything .... not to mention the drama queen fits.  Oh I'm so glad I'm not having another girl.  I'm not sure I could do this twice! haha!!  :D

  • Oddly enough that sounds exactly like my 20 month old today! Lots of crying and drama!

Your hubby sounds lovely! I wish mine were a little more like yours!

  • Aww! Glad your hubby is so understanding and supportive..
And my oldest daughter is almost 13, so I have COMPLETE understanding of what you're going through.
The tears and the drama are a bit much some days.
And I have a blessing of DD #4 on the way. Got the whole month covered of periods and PMS.. My SO is so lucky! ;)
  • I'm excited to have a girl....but not ready for that pre-teen drama!

Glad to hear your hubby made your day!

Mine pulled a "you need a snickers" moment on me yesterday when he was nagging me about being bad at directions.  I went off because he always nags me about this and I said you need to get over it...I'm NEVER going to be good with directions...YOU have the street smarts..I have the book smarts...lets just get over it RIGHT now!!

He went into the gas station to get milk on the way home and came out and says "you're getting hungry aren't you?  Here..." and hands me an ice cream snickers bar.
Me and my husband bicker about what he calls my driving 'disabilities' all the freaking time. I told him maybe if he let me drive more I could learn how to get there/where things are! Yesterday we sat in the back whole my parents drug is around garage sale shopping and they were fighting over her driving and DH was just siting back there laughing away. It was like watching us. Scary!

Lol, you brave, brave woman! Ha ha. I was mostly joking about another girl. I had just had it clear to the top today. I'd honestly be happy with a healthy child, doesn't matter the sex. :)

Send your hubby my best wishes! Lol, he's going to need it when he's in a house full of hormonal teenagers! Ha ha. I kid.
