I've been asking everyone I know, why not some experts? We love the name Ari. But I have to tell you my last name so you can judge if this is a bad combo: Yan. Ari Yan. What do you think?

The Aryan Brotherhood, a violent white supremacist gang, formed within the California state prison system in the late 1960s--this would be my concern with the first and last name combo. That would be a no go for me!

Geeze, I didn't even notice the first time I read it. But yeah, looking at Ari Yan again, all I see is Aryan Nation/Race. DEFINITE no.

I think you need a longer first name since your last name is so short.  I have the opposite problem, we have a very long last name so we love the name Ari and a few other short ones.  Good luck

This is actually not a joke at all @stickybaby. I'm bummed I can't use a name I love. Thanks to everyone who helped, I think i found something else we like almost as much!
