New Year's Eve Plans?

What is everyone doing for NYE?   Any big plans?

We're not really doing anything.  I don't really like going out b/c people get drunk and stupid.  We're grilling some lobster tails and steaks and hanging out at home.

 We had plans to go to NC with the in-laws, but the trip ended up being cancelled last minute.  I still want to go w/ DH, but he's being a party pooper.  =(

We'll prob end up at his cousin's house, whom has a huge party every year.  The only thing I don't like about it is that it is pretty far, and I'm not a huge fan of driving that evening w/ the crazy drunks!

Your plans actually sound wonderful!  I'm contimplating asking DH if he wants to have a G2G at the house with just brothers / friends and maybe play some board games or something.  LOL

My parents are having a party up in WPB. If Sophia's fever is gone by then (and knock on wood but it seems to be fizzling down slowly) we will go up for it. If not, its just a quiet night at home for us and Sophia.

My sister is coming over to babysit, well not really, just house sit after Zoe goes to bed. Seth and I are having dinner at Bennihana with my neigbors. I've never been there before, so i'm excited. That's about all! I'm sure it won't be a crazy night.

Oh how I love Benihana!  I'm sure you'll love it!  Be warned though, you will come out smelling like food.  LOL

benihana is yummy we bought one of those GIANT baskets at Sams and we plan on opening all the boxes and pigging out a little it shall be fun and entertaining. maybe i should plan on doing my jillian michaels wii game while we snack

Melanie-you will LOVE Benihana! I think we are playing it low key too-maybe dinner out then drinks and dessert at a family members home. Gonna stay close to home for Riley and to stay away from any major roads!

This will be a low-key year for us. Gary is sick with some awful sinusitis and is coughing up both lungs so not going anywhere for sure. This year I plan to stay FAR FAR FAR away from the champagne. Last year I got smashed on champagne at home while playing guitar hero. Let's just say seeing the video the next day was NOT funny! LOL

Peter works tomorrow until January 2nd, so I'll be stayinga tmy parent's house with Abby.  I'm not ready to be alone with her for 48 hours straight!  lol  He then comes home on the 2nd and leaves the following day for another 48 at the station.  ugghh so a great way to ring in the new year.

We're planning a game night with some relatives visiting from Canada up by Lake Okeechobee(sp?). I gave MH Seinfeld Scene It so we're looking forward to playing that.  We also have "Guesstures", Taboo, Dominoes (of course), and Poker.  MH purchased some fireworks and I made jello shots. We'll probably wind up cooking out.  HAPPY NEW YEAR LADIES!!

We are staying home tonight and hanging out...maybe making some filet in the freezer and mashed potatoes
