So my baby girl is due in a few weeks and I am putting together a prepping strategy (what can be washed with what, how many washes etc). So I was wondering how I should prep cotton and fleece liners, cotton velour doublers, and blend inserts (2 layers of bamboo outside and 2 layers of MF inside). I know synthetic and natural fibers should be prepped separately due to the oils natural fibers will release so how does prepping blended inserts work?
Then
I assume cotton liners and fleece liners only need to be washed once,
right? since they aren't really meant to absorb? But what about
doublers? They are meant to help absorb so how many times should I wash
those? They are the Thirsties fab doublers, fyi.
Re: Questions about prepping liners/blend inserts/doublers
I'd do the doublers a couple of times. Or just do it all once and know the doublers will improve with use.
I'd do blend inserts once. The MF will cover you until the bamboo hits its peak. Just wash 'em once, they're fine.
