FF accuracy ?

So the last time I used an opk about two months back it came out + on day 11 (I have a 25 or 26 day cycle). This month I didn't use opk or temp because I was away. My husband and I bd'd on cd 15. Fertility friend had a dark green box around that day and a light green box around the next day (we bd'd that day too.) Does anyone have any experience as to how accurate FF in predicting fertile window? Was it accurate for any of you with similar cycles? I feel like I may need to bd earlier than FF says to get pregnant...

It depends on how long you've been using FF and how regular your cycles are I think. Obviously if you use it for awhile and tend to be regular, it will be easier FF to make predictions.

That said, I've been using FF for over 30 cycles and I'd consider my cycles to be regular but FF is usually wrong about my predicted fertile days. I am usually in my fertile window for a few days before FF's prediction and sometimes I'll ovulate before the predicted days as well. We would be missing some good days if I relied solely on FF.

ETA: I thought you were talking about the green boxes on mobile. If not, my answer might not make sense.

Thanks for the replies, ladies! I've been charting since April and my cycles are regular. I always start my period in the middle of the 26th day with light spotting. The boxes were outlined in the green, not filled in. I had lots of CM about 3 days before BD...
