Braxton Hicks or Contractions

in 3rd Trimester

I am 37 weeks this week.  I had my first pelvic exam on Monday.  She was head down, but I had not dilated at all.  However, on yesterday about 4:30, She started to contract with what felt like the regular BH I have had a few weeks ago---that will subside after an hour or so.   But these contractions ( Just her tightening) every 4-5 minutes or so has been going on since yesterday and are still happening, as I type.  There is no serious pain, just her tightening continuously. 

Should I be concerned?

    This is also my first pregnancy, so I might not be using the correct terms.... My uterus is tightening.  It will tighten, then relax after a few minutes.

    Will do.  If I continue on this way by the end of the day, I will call medical exchange.

    Drink a bunch of water and lay on your left side, if after 30min they don't slow down call your OB. I went into PTL at 24wks and mine were 3min apart (couldn't feel them) and they stopped them with meds. 
    Since you're 37wks (full term) you could be in the early stages of labor.
