It's been awhile since I've updated, mostly because I'm still scared to death, but I think it's time that I move on from this board. IVF number 1 was a success.
Our first beta 3 weeks ago was only 40, to which the nurse said the doctor wasn't thrilled. 2 days later it didn't double... it quadrupled! up to 178. They did not draw any more betas since it rose so much. It was an excruciatingly long wait for 2.5 more weeks after that until our first ultrasound, which was Monday. One of our blasts stuck and we have one perfectly measuring bean in there with a perfect heartrate of 119. They turned the volume up so we could hear the heartbeat and I swear to you, it was the best 15 seconds of my life so far.
We are returning to the RE 2 weeks later for another ultrasound and until then, the PIO continues nightly. We are absolutely over the moon and feel like we can kinda breathe at least for the moment and are greatly anticipating our due date of April 18th.
Most importantly, I'd like to thank each of you lovely ladies for every bit of knowledge, understanding, support, empathy, and sometimes chuckles that you provided. My wish is that everyone who is reading this right now will eventually find a way to get to their BFP and most importantly a take home baby. I will of course be lurking and rooting you on.

Me: MTHFR, Low AMH (1.1), High NK cells and Antiphospholipid Antibodies.
IVF with ICSI in August 2013 brought us our babies. ER-9R, 7M, 4F w/ICSI ET of 2-Grade 2 blasts.
Dx shortened cervix, PTL, and preeclampsia during pregnancy. Lots of medications and 13 weeks of bedrest, babies were born healthy at 34w4d!

17 retrieved, 12 fertilized, 5dt w/ 2 blasts, 5 frosties

Ultrasound #1 10/6: 1 bean!
