I waited 48 hours after my BFP, then POAS and held up the photo I took of the original BFP (that's reason #346), then compared them for about 10 minutes to figure out if the line was twice as dark (reason #347), because you know, my hcg should have doubled if this pregnancy is healthy. Oh and I took a photo of the new one(reason #348) so I could compare all day (reason #349). It is a lot darker but I told DH I think it's only about 1.5 times darker. He gave me a good face palm look for that one.
