Give me something spicy!!!

I am CRAVING spicy food, I can't put enough salsa, crushed red pepper, hot sauce....anything to make my food spicy enough. Today, I put hot sauce, salsa, and ground red pepper on my burrito and I could barely taste it. :( To be fair, I am half Mexican and spicy food is in my blood so it takes a good bit of spice to ruffle my feathers. But still...Gah, it's so frustrating. Anybody else that can't seem to satisfy a craving out there? I can't be the only one.

  • Try the Asian spicy profile! Try some red rooster (cock) sauce or sriracha or wasabi. I find it give a different kind of burn than the Mexican spices.

  • My husband is half Mexican - and loves spicy food (every holiday with his family, green chili is used to smother everything). Needless to say, I have learned how to pick around spicey because I am a total wuss when it comes to spicy food. DH has been wishing my pregnancy would get me craving spicy food, but it hasn't happened at this point!

There's a lil info on the world's hottest chili pepper. My dad grows them. He powders them and uses them in chili.

  • my mouth is watering at the talk of all this spice! However, I'd regret eating any of it. With DS1, I would eat the Spicy Nachos :D Those were good!
