I saw my MFM and had an ultrasound this morning. They did a lot of measurements (I was there for over an hour) but really focused on the flow of the placenta and my uterine arteries. I'm not sure if I'll be getting another ultrasound from my regular OB, but I'll find out on Thursday. We discovered that I have "Type III: Severe Notching with an abnormal resistance" of my uterine arteries and placenta, which just means I'm at a higher risk for pre-eclampsia and potentially HELLP again. I'm not really surprised since I had it with my first babe. Just means lots more ultrasounds and peeks at this LO. I go back to my MFM in a month to re-do the ultrasound to check for changes.
DH doesn't want to know the sex so I kindly looked away during that part of the scan. I felt so proud of myself that I didn't cave even though I was by myself and am really curious. So we remain Team Green....for now.

ETA: why I'm high risk.
