Soooo sick...

Hello all!

1st baby - 7 weeks 3 day
I've been really really sick, like cant peel myself off the couch, and barfing at least 5 times a day. I can't work and I've used up all my sick days already.
My mom says I'm ok because she had terrible m/s with me and my sister.
Anyone else as bad as me?
Any suggestions?
I really hope this symptom slows down soon.

Call your dr. I got the stomach flu my last pregnancy and was throwing up violently, they gave me zofran and it helped a ton. I took it off and on for the rest of the pregnancy when I got really nauseous, it works really well. I wish I had it for my first trimester morning sickness but I didn't know to ask for it.

Call your doctor. I have zofran and phenegren the help a lot.

I've had it really bad in previous pregnancies - this time isn't too awful. The only thing that helps me is a Zofran and Zantac combo prescribed by my doctor. I've tried B6, Reglan, and Phenergan. The Phenergan works fine for the nausea, but causes nasty headaches. B6 and Reglan are about as helpful as a glass of water...

Definitely speak to your doctor about the severity of your vomiting. You might have hyperemesis gravidarum, and they'll want to keep an eye on you to avoid dehydration or other complications.
