I voted special snowflake. Sometimes we eat in the living room, sometimes in the dining room. It honestly depends on what we are eating and what kind of day it's been.
Since it's just DH and I, we typically eat on the sofa. If we put a lot of work into dinner or we have guests we'll do it up right at the dining room table, and I fully intend to eat at the table once LO is here.
I voted special snowflake. It all depends on if DH is traveling or not. If he's home its usually the kitchen counter. If he's not it is any of the other options. Just depends on what we are having and what I feel like.
we eat at the bar or on the couch! We really only eat at the dining room table when its a special occasion or DH cooks for me on the weekends. Its so small and a pain taking the stuff off and on each time.
Eat in kitchen. There isn't a dining room in the house.
I will confess that I often lie, saying I am not hungry yet if I just got home from the gym, because I hate listening to mh smack his food and I would rather eat alone

I voted SS. When I cook a full meal (3-5 nights a week, just depends), I always insist in eating in the dining room. If I just make a quick dinner, then we eat on the couch in front of the TV.
I voted at the table because that is usually the case. Sometimes on a Friday we'll cuddle up on the couch with dinner and watch one of DD's fav shows. However, the past couple of days we've eaten in bed because by dinner time I'm contracting like crazy so I have to lie down. I love that they still come in and keep me company :x
We typically eat on the couch. Once or twice a week we manage to fix dinner for ourselves at the same time as DS, in which case we all eat at the kitchen table (we don't have a dining room). Most of the time DS is eating dinner around when DH is getting home, so we end up eating after we put the kid to bed.
At the table, but here the dining room and kitchen are one room (only super fancy houses have a separate dining room) so it's basically in the kitchen. That said, I voted in small bites because I'm chasing kids but it's more like in small bites because I'm helping kids and getting up every two bites for something like a cloth to wipe a spill or more water or whatever else is needed. I probably burn more calories during a meal then anytime else during the day!

We normally eat at our coffee table. I sit on the ground with my back against the couch. We use our table on rare occasion. Normally when we have ppl over.

We only have a tiny little nook with a bistro table in our kitchen, no dining room at all so the couch for us. With our kitchen remodel we will finally have room for a small kitchen table. I can't wait!
Our table is my lovely husband's art-catch-all. So while I adore his paintings... we haven't eaten at the table since the first month we had it. Shizah! I generally make my dinner and eat standing up (I sit all day at work so I kind of love it) since DH works nights I don't really feel bad.
We eat at the dining room table. DH used to eat at the couch out of habit and DD started to think she could do the same and food was all over the place so no everyone eats at the table lol. :P
I'm such a loser. If it's just me and the kid, we'll at at the table together. Hubby isn't usually home in time for dinner. If, for some reason, kiddo has eaten already, I'll sit on the edge of my bed and chill with my laptop. Hahaha.
I feel so much better seeing all of you fellow couch-eaters!! We eat on the couch as well since its just us two, and dinner is always casual. However, I have said multiple times lately that once LO is here and old enough to be sitting up and eating on her own, we will be eating at the dining table. Growing up, we always had dinner with the whole family every night at the table. Tv was in another room, but was still off. Some of my greatest memories as a child were from around the dinner table, and I feel like all 4 of us kids learned a lot about each other there because we were forced to talk! DH says he wants to continue to eat on couch once LO is here, but this is going to def be a battle I choose! It's important to me.
SS - We sit at the kitchen table (before DD we used to eat at the couch a LOT). We never seem to go in the dining room though unless a special occasion.
We eat at the dining room table. Our kitchen is small and we have more room in the dining room. Before DS we always ate in the living room while watching tv. DH has actually declared that Friday night be "dinner in the living room night".
We eat with family almost every week night... both of our moms are fantastic cooks and they LOVE to cook for us. Since they watch our kids (MIL on Mondays and my mom Tuesday-Thursday) we usually end up staying for dinner since we're there picking up the kids anyway. It's LOVELY. We eat at the dinning room table, always.
Before Kids (BK) we ate wherever, whenever. It was usually out (our apartment was gross- long story) or pizza in bed (we didn't use our living room, dining room or kitchen).
After DS1 started eating real food instead of a bottle, we ate at the table more often. Now, the kids always eat at the table, and if DH is there, we'll eat too. If he isn't, I'll find something else to make myself when I'm hungry enough (or not feeling sick). But still, mostly at the table.
We have a terrible habit of eating all meals on the couch while watching tv. This is not a habit I want to pass on to my child, but it's difficult to break the cycle.
If DH and I eat together, it's almost always at the dinning room table. But if he's working late and I get so hungry that I end up eating alone, I eat on the living room floor in from the of the tv. That's been happening a lot lately. ">
Right now we eat on the sofa watching TV. Our goal is to switch to eating at the table all together once the boys are here.

We sit on the couch unless we have someone over, then we're at the table. I hope once this LO is eating food we will all eat at the table together, as that's what I remember growing up.
