Woollybottoms Prep Question

I know they come lanonized so does that mean I don't need to wash them before using?

Also I just read on the Woollybottom site that you shouldn't put PJs over the wool because they may get damp. Is this true?? DD sleeps in cotton sleepers and a sleep sack!

  • They do come fully lanolized. I would try it out, and if you are noticing some wicking then lanolize again. I loved them since you can use the covers right away.

I have found some wicking if DD's pj's were more form fitting, especially with the hybrid covers, I preferred their interlock soakers for overnight. I never had an issue with fleece sleepers though. I invested in a pair of longies for last winter to solve the wicking issue since I could just use them as bottoms.
