6.5 year old won't let others hold her

My daughter is about 6.5 months and just started this new thing of crying when other people hold her. She sees my parents 1-2 times minimum a week so should know them but yesterday every time one of them got even close to taking her from me she started crying. Is there something I can do to help this or is it just a phase she will eventually grow out of? I try to get out of the house every day taking her to new places and to see different people so that she won't get so attached to me..but I'm a SAHM for now (on a year maternity leave) so we obviously spend a lot of time together. Any advice?
